RIYA BHATTACHARJEE

Vice President of Media and Outreach

Riya Bhattacharjee is currently a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School and a student liasion for FUSD Challenge Success. She joined FUSD Challenge Success because she resonated with and was inspired by the organization’s mission to raise awareness about the importance of happiness and to expand the definition of success in students’ minds. She strongly believes that hard work beats talent, that one’s happiness and peace of mind precedes over all other factors in life, and that the definition of success is unique to the individual. At school, she is a member of the varsity badminton team, show choir, and is a club officer for both Mission’s music club and GSA. She loves communicating and interacting with others, and when she isn’t singing, she’s listening to Italian arias.

TRISHA NAIR

Irvington HS Liaison

My name is Trisha Nair, and I’m a rising junior at Irvington High School. I joined FUSD Challenge Success because I believe it’s crucial to spread awareness about mental health and expand the horizon of knowledge about what success actually means and to promote the idea that school is more than just academics. I like to think of myself as spontaneous, so I really enjoy doing a variety of things and love keeping myself busy. In my free time I enjoy taking pictures, cooking/baking, playing basketball and staying active in any way, meeting new people and simply spending quality time with my friends and family and my dog!

MANASA MADDI

Webmaster

My name is Manasa and I’m a 15 year-old rising sophomore at American High School. Coming from a relatively competitive school atmosphere, through FUSD Challenge Success, I strive to bring a realization in my peers that there are many other things that matter in life other than grades and expand the real meaning of the word “success” as that signifies a deeper definition than just some numerical values, which definitely don’t define anyone’s triumph. In my free time, I love to sing Indian classical music, draw and paint realistic acrylic portraits.
